What is Home Health?

Home health care is provided by our professional caregivers in the individual home where the patient or client is living.

In order to be eligible for home health care, the patient must meet these requirements:

• You must be under the care of a doctor, and you must be getting services under a plan of care created and reviewed regularly by a doctor.
• Full-time Intermittent skilled nursing care (other than drawing blood) certified by a doctor.
• A doctor must certify that you're homebound.

Home health may be covered 100% by Medicare for those who qualify, and we accept most forms of insurance. Part of the admission process includes verification of insurance. By contacting us, our team is happy to help answer your financial and insurance questions.

Patients receiving care at the comfort of their own home receive many benefits, including but not limited to:

• Reduction of injury-inducing falls and hospital readmissions
• Our home health aides can help with housework including cooking, cleaning, and even with bathing
• Physical, Speech, and Occupational therapy is provided at home without having to go to a rehabilitation facility
• Home health care specialists can help adapt your home to fit you or your family's changing needs

Our staff are scheduled to care based on what kind of services the patient is receiving, visit frequencies, and payer authorizations. Each individual patient is different so visits are coordinated and scheduled according to their specific needs.
